Today is the third day on my journey to re-gain gratefulness. My student advisor, Rachel, found a yogi, Swami Kena, and set up the chance for our student cohort to spend time with him at the Yoga Space in Glenwood Springs. We spent an hour in silent meditation with Swami Kena and then listened to his lessons. I had the chance to consult with Swami Kena by myself and he told me that meditation will help me learn compassion, compassion will help me let go of judgements and that will help me embrace YES. Swami Kena is on a mission to teach bliss through meditation all over the US. There is no cost to participants so if you get the chance, see him.
The weather isn't great at this moment (it's Colorado, I'll wait 5 minutes) but I'm spending the day studying at the most beautiful library I've ever seen. I'm grateful to have been accepted to this amazing program. I'm grateful have the opportunity to write this 10 page paper on Trauma and Recovery ;) I'm grateful for this education and professional and personal growth!
